So I was invited by the Cosmetics Fairies to take the #CosmeticsFairyChallenge. The challenge basically involves getting as many products as you can from their website for around £10. Obviously I was keen to take part (my competitive side rubbing it’s hands in glee.) The Cosmetics Fairy sell discounted makeup, cosmetics and skincare and have loads of well known brands on their site including Bourjois, Maybelline, Rodial, OPI, Essie, ROC and loads more. I had real fun piling the products in to my basket and was amazed at what I could get for £10 ( if you spend £10 or more the postage is free.) I also discovered a great new brand which I will definitely be stocking up on. Prices start at 25p for a nail polish and they have a great under 99p section where you can really bag some bargains. It is a great way to stock up on makeup bag essentials.

I guess what you all want to know, is what I got for £10…. although I did go over slightly ( I was never one for sticking to a budget) but only by a measly 39p!

My goodies included:

Essie 5ml polish – Smooth Sailing

This is a gorgeous shimmery blue colour, which I got for a fraction of the normal Essie pricetag.

Loreal Color Riche Serum Lipstick – Radiant Rose

A really moisturing bright Fuchsia shade. Swatch shade on picture below on left.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick – Cherry Candy (550)

Another great colour but more of a deep red with a mass of shine. Swatch shade in picture below on right.

Loreal Glam Bronze Radiant Bronzing Duo – Beaming Bronze (352)

Perfect little bronzing palette with a trio of shades, including dark and lighter shades to help with contouring, another absolute bargain at £2.49!

Vital Twist Up Kohl Pencil Waterproof – Chocolate

This was my beauty discovery. It is a great twist up creamy shade of chocolate which goes on really smoothly and doesn’t drag the skin at all. An absolute steal for 99p, it is also waterproof and I will most definitely be stocking up on these pencils on my next order.

Justice Wild Cherry Flavoured Lipbalm

Finally, a quirky little lipbalm which smells good enough to eat!

Not bad for £10.39 I’d say. Cosmetics Fairy is definitely a beauty store to investigate and see what bargains you can bag for yourself.

  1. Wow, you got some fantastic brands for a real bargain price! I will certainly be doing a haul with Cosmetics Fairy.

Are you happy with overall products and service now you’ve been using them a bit?

    • yes, I was really happy with what I got and I would definitely buy from the Cosmetic Fairy again. Definitely worth checking out what they’ve got on their website.
