Timeless Truth Facemasks

I have very kindly been sent a number of face masks from Timeless Truths Facemasks. These amazing facemasks are fabric masks designed to fit the shape of the face and impregnated with different oils/serums depending upon the type you choose.

There are two types of mask: the ‘Fusion’ and the ‘Luxury’ range. The fusion range are made of heat sensitive cloth which contains natural oils and cleansers to restore and revitalise the skin. The Luxury range are made of a patented elastic type of cloth which is impregnated with a luxurious range of minerals to help maintain skins natural glow.

The masks were entered in to the Pure Beauty Awards last year and were finalists in both Best Skincare Launch and Best Anti-Ageing Launch. This year they have been entered in to the  Beauty Shortlist Awards – Best Face Mask and CEW(UK)Awards – Best New Brand (Mass), and it will be interesting to see how they do in these awards too.

I have tried several of the masks now. They are all really easy to apply and adhere to the skin very well. I applied one of the masks and walked around whilst it was working its magic ( and it actually stayed put.) I did frighten my daughter though, as it looked like some sort of weird horror mask. However, the best way is probably to lay down and relax with the mask on for 15 – 20 minutes to get the full benefits.

Q-10 Caviar Nourishing Mask

This is a luxurious anti-ageing mask that contains co-enzyme Q10, to help promote skin cell turnover and reduce the visible signs of ageing and Caviar, which contains several skin-boosting vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin A that helps to correct damaged tissues, and Potassium that assists in improving skin elasticity. All in all, a great skin boost and gorgeous luxury mask. This mask felt to have especially deep moisturising properties, which could be due to the Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E which the mask also contains. This is a great anti ageing mask and treat for skin.

Multipeptide Calming Revitalising Mask

This mask contains negative ions which help increase circulation, Peptides which have been shown to gently inhibit muscle contractions, relaxing tense muscles and helping to reduce fine lines and visible signs of ageing. I have had really dry stressed skin for a few weeks now so I tried this in the hope it would help. On application, the serum the mask was infused with really soothed and cooled my face. I left on for 15 minutes as recommended and when I removed the cloth mask there was still a lot of product left, which I massaged in to my skin. My skin did look very plump (in a good way!) after use and it definitely felt a lot less dry and itchy.

Bio Cellulose Apple Stem Cell Collagen Mask

The latest mask just launching in the range is the Bio Cellulose Apple Stem Cell Collagen Mask. This is my favourite so far, if only for the gorgeous fresh apple fragrance! This mask contains Stem Cells extracted from Swiss Apple ‘Uttuiler Spattauber’ to help nourish and stimulate skin. The apple stem cells are said to work in a similar way to human skin cells, suggesting they will help to repair damaged tissue and delay and reduce the visible signs of ageing. This masks contains a thicker serum than the calming mask above, but is applied in the same way. I  left on for around 15 minutes, as directed. After use my skin was visibly plumped up and brightened. The next day my skin was also a lot brighter and I didn’t need as much makeup base as normal. Two days later, my skin feels glowing and the effects are very similar to when I have a had a professional facial in a salon/spa, which is what the masks are actually designed for.  This one is a definite winner for me!

The masks retails between £4.95 for a mask in the Fusion range to around £8.85 for a mask in the Luxury range.
