I recently bought this ‘Try Me Starter Kit’ from Pinks Boutique after having a Pinks Boutique facial at the amazing Eastthorpe Hall Spa in Mirfield.

Pinks Boutique offer natural and organic luxury skincare products which contain 100% natural and organic products. I bought the ‘Ocha’ kit as this is aimed at normal to dry, mature skins types and the therapist at Eastthorpe Hall recommended these products for my skin type. The kit contains a mini cleanser, toner, moisturiser, night balm and exfoliator.

Ocha Cleanser – contains Ocha (tea), the instructions suggest you mix with a little water before applying. The cleanser has a really nice creamy consistency and felt really gentle on my dry sensitive skin. After massaging in to my skin then rinsing with water, my skin felt really smooth afterwards with no tightness. I have used this cleanser for the last 2 weeks (it has just about run out now), but I would definitely buy a full size bottle of this cleanser as I felt it was really gentle but also thoroughly cleansed my skin at the same time.

Ocha Toner – This contains the Ocha and lavender extract. It comes in a pump spray bottle in this kit. The toner didn’t last as long as the cleanser as you do waste a little when spraying on to cotton wool pads. This was again really gentle and didn’t aggravate my sensitive skin. However, I did have a little tightness before applying moisturiser. I would definitely recommend for a normal skin type but I didn’t find it moisturising enough for my really dry skin.

Ocha and Rosehip Moisturiser – This contains the Ocha and also Rosehip and is recommended as a day cream. The cream has a nice light fluffy consistency and applied really well. My skin felt well moisturised and i would use during the summer months but it just wasn’t moisturising enough for my skin during the winter after all the cold weather we’ve had. Again, I think it would be well suited to a normal to slightly dry skin type.

Night Balm – Contains Lavender extract, Rose, Evening Primrose and Shea Butter. As the name suggests, this is suitable for overnight use. It has a great butter like texture which melted in to my skin beautifully and it also smells great. After use my skin still felt really plump and well moisturised when I woke up in the morning. I would buy this product again and I think it is great for dry and really dry skin types.

Bamboo and Oatmeal Polish – Contains Organic Oatmeal and Bamboo. This is a really gentle scrub, but I still felt that it was exfoliating my skin. There was no redness afterwards and no scratchy ingredients! My skin did look brighter and more radiant after using this product and again I would buy a full size of this product as I felt it was really benefical to my dry sensitive skin.

Overall I was really impressed with the starter kit which is priced at £25. It is a great introduction to the brand and allows you to try the products rather than splashing out on the full sizes straightaway. I will definitely be trying some of their other products now.

Is that this a paid theme or did you customize it your self?
Either way keep up the excellent quality writing, it’s uncommon to see a nice weblog like this one nowadays..
