I have been waiting to try this serum for quite a while now and have been coveting ever since I read about it in ‘The Anti Ageing Beauty Bible’ by Josephine Fairley and Sarah Stacey. It is one of their ‘Anti Ageing Award Winners’ in the ‘Serums’ category, and got some great comments. I finally got round to ordering it from Net a Porter a few weeks ago and I have not been disappointed!

I have to mention the packaging (as always!). I knew having ordered from Net a Porter before that it would come all wrapped up fabulously. Everything is so well presented, coming in a gorgeous black gift box tied with a beautiful bow. It screams luxury before you even open the package!

The product itself is also packaged very stylishly and comes in an easy to use steel grey pump dispenser.

So what is all the hype about and what does it promise?

The blurb on the packaging says that it ‘ helps the first signs of ageing, uneven dark pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles’  which is just what I needed!

The consistency is a cream like gel and it sinks in to the skin and absorbs really well. I was so impressed on my first application, I applied under my normal night cream and I swear I woke up in the morning looking like I had had a good nine hours sleep ( and I definitely hadn’t!)

I have been using for a couple of weeks now and apply day and night under moisturiser. It gives skin an amazing glow and generally brightens up my skin. It seems to tighten the fine lines around my eye area. You only need a small amount for the face and neck area, a little goes a long way! It also enables makeup to go on really smoothly, making skin looking fresher.

I understand why the authors of The Anti Ageing Beauty Bible  raved about this product now and why Sarah Chapman is one of the ‘go to’ facialists and known as the ‘Skin Doctor’. After trying this I will most definitely try some of her other products and have got my eye on the ‘Overnight Facial’

It is not the cheapest skin serum around and currently retails at £47 for 30ml on Net a Porter, but I do think it is worth it and it will last a while as you don’t need to use a lot on each application.
