I am on the countdown to holidays now and pulling out the dreaded bikini!
My body is in need of some help in the shape of a firming cream ( I had a baby nearly two years ago and although I am not in bad shape, I feel like the skin on my stomach could do with some help!) After looking through a few I chose ‘The Firminator’ from Soap and Glory. I have used a few of Soap and Glory products now and always been happy with the results. I also love the packaging and the quirky name’s ( I think that’s what sold it to me!)
The cream is a green colour and smells lovely, the consistency is more like a lotion than a cream and it isn’t sticky on or after application, which I have found with others in the past.
I am not naïve enough to think that this is going to be a miracle worker and it does give a ‘reality check’ on the back of the bottle saying that basically using this and scoffing a load of doughnuts is not going to work, it has to be used in conjunction with exercise and a good diet. I have the exercise in check just not so sure about the diet!
I have been using this morning and night for two weeks now and I think the appearance of my skin looks better and it definitely looks a bit firmer. I think you have to use products like these for at least 4 – 6 weeks to get a real result and I will update you when I have used it for longer. On the whole I think this is a really good toning/firming cream which improves the appearance of the skin but it doesn’t work miracles and it won’t help you lose weight.
