Tropic Sculpting Palette
The Tropic Sculpting Palette is the latest product I have bought from the amazing Tropic range. With all the hype around contouring and strobing, I am always on the lookout for products which help achieve this look. These three colour palettes contain all the shades (there are three colour variations to choose from) you need to help master sculpted cheekbones and highlight your features. I chose the ‘Coral Blush’ version which is for fair to medium skin. It contains a matte pecan brown to define the cheekbones, a gorgeous rose gold colour for the apples of cheeks and finally, a really flattering pink satin highlighter to create a dewy glow or if you are in to strobing you can use it for that.
There are two other variations to choose from, Vintage Rose which is for medium to darker skins and also a Bronze version again for medium to darker skins. They all contain three shades, a contour colour, blush and highlighter. I use all three shades together when I am going out or when I am wearing full makeup but some days I just use the highlighting shade as it really perks up skin and makes me look less tired (something I need most days!)
The powders are a really good consistency and contain Vitamin C, Carrot and Pomegranate Seed Oils. Most importantly they are not really ‘cakey’ and don’t settle in to fine lines. I do tend to stay away from powder formulations having really dry skin and prefer a cream blush but this palette has really got me over my ‘fear’ of powder and it definitely improves my complexion considerably.
The Tropic Sculpting Palettes are £24 at Tropic.
