Wish list for end of January payday splurge!!
January is a horrible month anyway and this month I set myself a challenge to buy nothing clothing or beauty related mainly to save money and also a bit of a challenge for January like dry January or a diet! I admit it’s probably one of the easiest months to do this as the shops are usually a mish mash of old sale styles and a bit of new season ( which seems such a long time away at the moment) and as I haven’t really been out as much I haven’t wanted to buy anything makeup related……. but it’s the end of January now so what is on my wish list for February I hear you ask….?
⭐️Dr Gross Alpha Beta Glow Pads – I am a disgusting shade of pale now and definitely need a boost in this area. These have had some great reviews recently and almost always appear in the top ten self tanner lists dotted across the Internet. £27.50 here. They are a mixture of self tan and hardcore skincare and contain a blend of acids to exfoliate and reduce common signs of ageing whilst giving a great streak free tan at the same time all in a handy pad.
⭐️Dior Show Pump n Volume Mascara – I’m just in desperate need of a new one and again this has had fab reviews so I’m hoping to treat myself to this and give it a try. Dior Show Pump n Volume Mascara £24.95 here. This mascara is the first to come in a squeezable tube allowing you to get a fresh coating every time you use the wand, giving really voluminous lashes without clumping.
⭐️Lixir Skin Vitamin C Paste – Another one I’ve seen all over social media, promises smooth luminous skin if used daily, perfect to counteract dull dry skin around this time of year £32 here.
⭐️Trinny London BFF Skin Perfector Cream £35 here – Trinny, as in Trinny and Susannah launched a great new makeup range some months back and the products are getting some great reviews…. I’m sure partly because of the crazy video’s Trinny posts of herself using the products. I have my eye on the BFF cream, which I guess is similar to a primer in that you apply after moisturiser but before foundation and it gives skin a real glow. It comes in several different shades and you can answer a few questions on the website to help determine your shade. I will do a full review once I’ve got my hands on this. It’s worth taking a look at Trinny Londons website and the gorgeous makeup products which all come in really handy stacking pots or ‘stacks’ as they call them… a great way to build a simple quick makeup regime.
⭐️Anything pink! I think this dreary weather has made me hanker after anything bright and seemingly springlike and there are some gorgeous pink pieces out there at the moment to add some colour and pop to this dull time of year….my picks below:
Unicorn Hair in Bubblegum Rose – Lime Crime £13 at Cult Beauty – loving pink hued hair at the moment and this seems the perfect way to achieve a temporary blush hue, I also love the name!
This gorgeous fuschia coat from Mango would really brighten up February and it’s on sale too woo! £39.99 here.
This pink chunky cardigan from River Island has been on my radar for a while but you have to be quick as it goes out of stock every time it comes back in. This is the perfect transition piece for spring £42.00 here.
What’s on your payday list??
